What is Microblading?

*Recommended for dry skin with adequate amount of brow hair.

Microblading is a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure that uses a fine blade to place semi-permanent pigment into the surface of the skin. The effect very closely mimics the look and detail of actual brow hairs, creating a bolder, natural-looking brow. This procedure does not require a tattoo gun and is quite different from a traditional tattoo in terms of procedure, permanency, color, detail, and overall look.

Microblading is simply the best way to create natural-looking brows. It can also be referred to as eyebrow embroidery or feathering.

What are Powder Brows?

*Recommended for any skin type with or without brow hair.
Powder brows, also known as microshading, nano brows, and ombré shading is also a semi-permanent eyebrow procedure where it uses a needle that places semi-permanent pigment in the upper layer of skin in a stippling technique. The overall look of the eyebrows once it has healed is more of a filled-in make-up look compared to the hair-like look of microblading. Some guests prefer this type of look or if someone has an oily skin complexion, this procedure might be more ideal for better healed results.

What are Combo Brows?

*Recommended for any skin type with or without brow hair.
This is the best of both worlds – combining microblading and micro-shading to create a bold beautiful brow.  Usually microblading is completed at the fronts of the brows to keep it looking more hair-like and fluffy and powder shading is completed in the middle of the brows to the tails to keep the shape looking defined and more filled-in. If your skin-type is more oily, this method is great for retention longevity.

Is the procedure safe? Do you take Covid-19 precautions?

Each procedure performed adheres strict sanitation and sterilization rules.  Only unused, sealed, disposable microblading tools and tattoo cartridges are used with each guest.  Remarkable by KB is licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services and is insured.

With respect to Covid-19 and tattoo safety measures, a mask is worn during the tattoo portion when working with my guests. If you feel more comfortable with masking during the entire process, please let me know.  I want all my guests to feel comfortable and respected. I also maintain a yearly certification in BBP, Blood Borne Pathogens, which is a requirement for tattoo artists by OSHA.

Is the proceedure painful?

Brow and Hairline Tattoo guests:

Highly effective topical anesthetic cream is used to numb the area to be treated. This helps to alleviate any minor discomfort you may experience during the procedure. Comfort levels vary according to individual pain threshold and response to anesthetics. Some people describe what they feel as ‘irritation’, ‘vibration’, or ‘a slight burning sensation’.

Stretch Mark guests:

Treated areas will not be numbed.  Comfort levels vary according to individual pain threshold. Expect minor discomfort during the treatment.  A slight stinging or scratching sensation has been described by guests.

What is Brow Lamination?

*Recommended for anyone who wants the look of defined, thicker, fuller brows.

Over plucked, thinning, unruly brows are all good candidates for lamination.

Brow Lamination is a 3-step chemical treatment that relaxes the brow hairs so they can be manipulated into any desired position. Lamination makes brows appear more natural, fuller-looking, with reduced patchiness. As a microblading alternative, laminated brows involve a non-invasive procedure that is affordable with results that last 6-8 weeks.

Whether you experience overplucked, thinning, gapped, unruly, or hair growth in different directions, brow lamination can help you create an even shape that looks effortlessly chic without makeup.

The procedure takes less than an hour or less to complete and is pain free.  An eyebrow tint can be added to the lamination process to enhance results.
